Spanish street artist Okuda San Miguel – also known as Okudart – transformed a 100 year old church in Llanera, Spain, into a psychedelic indoor skate park. The project entitled Kaos temple was created in collaboration with La Iglesia Skate and Red Bull.

The full transformation from religios edifice to sports sanctuary lasted 7 days. The artist completely covered the walls of the church in vibrant murals leaving no room untouched. Multi-faceted portaits cover the vaulted ceilings, while geometric rainbows and colorful wildlife complete the space, bringing the entire space together.

The project was meant as a “reinterpretation of the church as a meeting place and cultural reference in the 21th century” (Verkami). The reinvented space is a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors and shapes that brings new life and inspiration to a historic building.
