Joey Spiotto, an artist from Los Angeles, California, turns pop culture characters into cute children book covers. From Breaking Bad, Harry Potter to Batman and even horror movies like Resident Evil, the artist captures the essence of each character and the resulting illustration appears to be taken from actual children books.
It’s not all inspired from movies or TV series though, as the collection also includes a few musicians and games.
The collection is called Storytime and it contains more than 90 illustrations, which you can find HERE.
Joey Spiotto has worked as a concept artist for Warner Bros as well as games such as “The Simpsons Game”, “Dead Space” and “The Sims 3”. Currently he creates licensed artwork for Marvel, Dr. Horrible, Ghostbusters, Adventure Time, and more, and he also recently finished illustrating his first children’s book.
